Easy HireThe Easy Hire system provides all the hardware and software required to manage a large number of hire items deployed at multiple sites. The system is based around a computer kiosk that automates the majority of hire transaction tasks so that minimal attendant time is required to fully process the initial hire transaction and final item return.
The complete Easy Hire solution has the following main features: - Computer kiosk, receipt printer, wireless 3g internet connection, real time monitoring, remote administration.
- Fully automated booking process through both a web site and kiosks.
- One Way hire capability.
- Automated hire initiation process collecting all customer and hire item details required to start the hire.
- If local hire items of the desired type are not present, the customer will be directed to the nearest site that has an available item.
- Credit card or cash payment options.
- Configurable damage waivers.
- Two stage return process to enable the site attendant to verify returned hire item after the customer has returned it.
- Configurable damage options.
- Real time fleet management. Know exactly where each of your hire items are located.
- Alarm configuration. Multiple notifications e.g. when a booking is imminent but the hire item is late returning from a previous hire.
The system is fully configurable, so any potential hire item type can be entered into the system.
Our back office manager application gives you complete flexibility over all of the deployed kiosks. For example, the sequence below shows the simple steps required to add a new type of hire item into the system and have an item ready to be hired at a site: - Create the new hire type in the back office manager
- Upload an image for the new hire type
- Create the payment plan for the new hire type
- Upload the Terms & Conditions for the hire type
- Create all the possible damage options for the hire type
- Create an item (instance) of the hire type with a unique identifier (registration number / serial number for example)
- Physically take the item to a site
- Change the item's location to the required site
- Set the item's status to 'Available to be hired'
Once the steps have been completed, the next time a customer uses the kiosk they will see the new hire item type as available to be hired or booked.
Easy Hire is used by Australia's largest trailer hire company: Their kiosk computers are deployed in petrol stations across four states. Ute hire is currently in development and will be live within the next three months. |
